The Homecheck property check-out service

When your tenant is about to leave, Homecheck will visit the property and assess the condition of the property against the original check-in report and the detailed property inventory. We will note any changes between the two conditions and where appropriate take photographs so a visual record is on file.

If there are differences between the check-in and check-out reports, Homecheck may discuss this with the landlord and tenant in order to apportion any liability for wear and tear, ascribe any cleaning responsibilities and/or if any dilapidation damages have to be assigned to either the tenant or the landlord. Additionally, final meter readings are taken and all keys to the property retrieved. The check-out report is sent to the landlord usually within 24 hours of a Homecheck visit to the rental property.
